JISC Online Conference Have a Go area

October 20, 2010

I’m very pleased to be involved in the conference, as a “Tour Guide” for the “Have a Go” area, and in the run up to the conference  I’ll be investigating what’s on show and trying to whet your appetites.

Today at the JISC Learning and Teaching Expert group meeting in Birmingham I managed to catch up with Ron Mitchell who is deeply involved with the Xerte projects, which provide a range of accessible and easy to use tools.

Ron gave a presentation using a Learning Object created with Xerte which can be found here:

The Online conference runs from the 23rd – 26th November 2010, BUT the reading week opens on 16th November 2010 and offers a chance to become familiar with the conference environment and try out innovative JISC projects in the ‘have-a-go’ area.

Book online – early registration advisable for full participation in the pre-conference week

Delegate fee: £50

Visit the conference website at for a full list of presenters.
